Applications are invited from eligible Indian citizens for appointment in Clerical Cadre in State Bank of India.
The last date for registration of online applications is January 20, 2012 and the written exam is on March 18, 2012.
Educational qualification (as on December 1, 2011) should include minimum 12th Standard (10+2) pass or equivalent qualification with a minimum of aggregate 60% marks (55% for SC/ ST/ PWD/ XS). PWD(OBC) & XS(OBC) candidates applying under Special Recruitment Drive are required to have minimum of 60% marks in 12th standard or in equivalent qualification or a degree (Graduation level) from a recognised university.
Minimum age should be 18 years and maximum 28 years as on December 1, 2011. Candidates born between November 30, 1983 & December 1, 1993 are only eligible to apply.
All eligible candidates should apply on-line before the last date for registration of application. Final selection will be made on the basis of performance in the written test and interview taken together.
The written test will be of objective type consisting of general awareness, general English, quantitative aptitude, reasoning ability, marketing aptitude and computer knowledge.
The questions in objective tests, except for the test of General English, will be bilingual - English & Hindi. There will be negative marks for wrong answers in the Objective tests. 1/4th marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
